How digitalisation and technology can be used to enhance the experience of wealth and asset management clients

 

In the rapidly evolving technology landscape, client expectations are increasing, with a demand for the latest tailored solutions. Capgemini’s Client Centricity in Wealth Management Report states that while wealth management firms have invested billions of dollars in initiatives that promise to improve the client experience, many struggle to measure the impact of those investments on client loyalty.

 

Financial services firms are also facing heavy competition from firms offering personalised and unique client experiences. The recent Capgemini World Wealth Report states that, while half of HNWIs is content with their wealth managers, over a third are contemplating a switch very soon and only 18% of affluent clients are happy with their current wealth manager.

 

To stay ahead, wealth management firms must focus on developing more client-centric solutions, ensuring they stand out in a highly competitive market, but are facing numerous internal barriers in doing so.
